Location

The Scuba Lodge is located on an ocean front lot. All around us historic buildings are being restored to their original splendour, which gives this part of town a very authentic and charming atmosphere.

For diving it cannot get any better, the water is warm and clear and the reef stretches all the way around the island. At only 20 meters (65 ft) distance from the hotel we have a wonderful house reef with small walls, big sponges and lots of fish.
Dolphins are known to pass by on a regular basis, but to see them requires excellent timing!

The Scuba Lodge also offers its guests a little beach, lush garden, fresh water pool and a cosy ocean front bar where you can sit back and relax while listening to the waves crashing in.

When it's time for action however you will find everything you need nearby. Whether you want to go shopping, sight-seeing, visit a museum, have breakfast or lunch, or simply enjoy the harbour view from one of the terraces at the Handelskade, they are all within a few minutes walk.

The floating bridge (over one century old), the floating market, cruise ships and blazing blue sky all ad to the tropical flavour. At night there are great bars and good restaurants just around the corner, and even the movie theatre is nearby.

For our divers all of this ensures that your surface time is well spend, and for our non-diving guests it could not be any easier to go out and explore the city.
